A little bit of wild, a whole lot of cuteness!

As I was walking down the lane this morning, I seen something scurry across the road. I looked into the trees to try to find out what it was. To my surprise, I seen four yellow pine chipmunks. They were busy running up and down the trees and through the grass.

All of a sudden, the one I have fondly named Jeffrey stopped on top of a broken piece of tree.

At one point, he cocked his head, trying to figure out what I was doing. Then all of a sudden he made some cute little sounds, as if to say, did you bring any nuts? I’ve heard from all the other wildlife that you feed everyone, so why not us?

So now I am on my way down the lane with a little handful of mixed nuts for them. I don’t want to chance an uproar from chipmunks when I have my back turned. 😂
